Rear Wheel Housing and Ladder Strap Upgrade
The standard Rear Wheel Strap (what's in the box with the Talon, Mini Bomber, and Bomber racks) includes a Velcro strap for holding down your wheel. You can uprgade to a ladder strap and buckle for a more solid connection.
The Rear Wheel Housing and Ladder Strap Upgrade comes with the ladders strap pre-assembled to the Rear Wheel Housing. Just replace your current housing and velcro on your Rear Wheel Strap and off you go.

Accessories are fun and all, but first let's get you set-up with one of SeaSucker's bike racks. For 1, 2, or 3 bikes.
- (1) Remove existing standard housing from your Rear
- Wheel Strap’s vacuum cup by unscrewing the four
- screws in the corners of the housing.
- (2) Position the Rear Wheel Housing over the pump
- and vacuum cup, lining up the screw holes on the
- housing with the screw holes on the vacuum cup.
- (3) Insert the screws removed from original housing
- and tighten securely with a screwdriver.
To install:
- - Designed to fit up to a 29″ wheel.
- - Made for standard road, cross, and MTB wheels.
- - Made for rooftop, trunk or hatchback attachment.
- - Approx. 36 cm x 15 cm. Front Wheel Holder stands 48 cm tall.
- - Approx. 0,2 kg

After 3 years of use with original Velcro tie down straps, I looked to replace the Velcro. A new design with rubber strap and ratchet is the replacement. It isn’t that expensive so I got one even though I could have bought some “aftermarket “ Velcro to fix original. The new design is great and secured rear wheel quite well. Now the trick will for it be to last at least as long as original Velcro.

The old addage is true, you get what you pay for!! I can honestly say that this product including my entire Seasucker system, has never failed me in any way.

Quick upgrade but the strap needs to be a another notch or two longer. I can only get one click, would feel way more comfortable with two or three.
